Transforming Ideas into Action
LEAD WESTERN MAINE is a training and support program that includes monthly workshops and ongoing coaching support. The program offers a leadership assessment tool, group experiential exercises, peer exchange, practical tools and connections to networks and resources to get your community change project moving.

GOALS
- Increase leadership capacity in Oxford, Somerset, Piscataquis, Franklin and Northern Androscoggin counties;
- Teach people how to organize and carry out projects that bring positive change in their community;
- Provide leaders with ongoing support for specific projects or initiatives;
- Encourage connections (networks) that help people to cultivate the relationships and expertise they need to improve their communities;
- Provide an opportunity for individuals to connect with resources in other parts of the state.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
People who want to develop locally focused projects or effect positive change in their communities or organizations.
